A year after the Brexit vote, 60% UK school staff reported they had witnessed racial bullying (Diana Award, 2017).
I created EGALVIA because racism and other forms of discrimination keep impacting negatively young people and adults’ lives.

I am a passionate educator who has been working in improving learning and teaching, both as a teacher and as a manager during the last ten years. On a mission to tackle racial and gender discrimination and breaking unfair structures, Rosa founded the social enterprise EGALVIA to support organisations with anti-bias training to shift mindsets, and services to develop long-term strategies to address inequality.
Rosa is a Sociologist and a qualified teacher (QTLS, Society for Education and Training) and holds a MSc in Development Management.
